Shawntez Downey is facing a charge of second-degree murder in McInnis’ death, while his brother Daniel Downey is charged with being an accessory to murder after the fact. On the other charges in the case, the six man and six woman jury found Shawntez guilty of confining and kidnapping Thompson, and attempting to murder Thompson.
