“I thank God for giving me these beautiful children but I never knew that it was this expensive to give birth in a private hospital. “As of now, we are left with no option but to remain in the hospital pending when God will intervene in our matter through good citizens who will help us out of this situation. “At the moment, I need about N500,000 to be able to offset the hospital bills and take good care of the babies. I am calling on good citizens of the state and Nigeria to come to our aid,” he said. Assistant Matron of the hospital, Helen Solomon, said Emmanuel and his family had been in the hospital facility since Monday when they had their babies because they had no money to pay for the hospital bills.
