A woman suspected of abducting her 6-year-old son — prompting authorities to issue an Amber Alert — was arrested Wednesday evening after a short police pursuit. The chase ended when Burnett abandoned her car and ran with her son into a Harley-Davidson shop in the 4100 block of Lincoln Boulevard. After the arrest, police reunited the boy, West Burnett, with other family members, Im said. The arrest ended a search that began Wednesday morning when West was allegedly abducted from school. “Please, I didn’t kidnap him.”The news crew told her, “You need to pull over.”“No, they’re going to arrest me,” Burnett replies.
