PETALING JAYA: Motivational speaker Prof Datuk Dr Muhaya Mohamad has apologised for her video in which she advised women to act a "little dense" to find love. The ophthalmologist also said that the nearly one-minute video clip, which had courted criticism from many, was taken from a 45-minute session that went live on her social media channels on Feb 6. Dr Muhaya said that the live session, entitled “Between Love and Ambition” was to answer questions on Facebook from women who are caught between pursuing their career, finding love and having a family. Dr Muhaya added that those who wished to get a deeper explanation on the issue could view the video on her YouTube channel at Prof Muhaya TV. In the video which went viral, Dr Muhaya had suggested that single, unmarried women looking for love ought to “act a little dumb” as men like women who are "damsels in distress".
