KUALA LUMPUR: A 54-year-old motorcyclist died after colliding with a car at the Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim turn-off heading towards Jalan Duta. Song Chin Lye was riding on his motorcycle at the turn-off when the collision occurred at about 2.50am here on Monday (Dec 31). Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Asst Comm Zulkefly Yahya said the impact of the collision caused Song to fall off his motorcycle. “The driver of the car escaped unhurt,” ACP Zulkefly said when contacted on Tuesday (Jan 1), adding that the 37-year-old man has been detained for investigation. “The case is classified under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving,” he said.
