BNP Standing Committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed has expressed fury over losing a thousand-year-old bowl from his Gulshan’s house during eviction. “I have not received some 44 items of goods including a thousand-year-old bowl from the Gulshan house. Also read-Rajuk demolishing Gulshan house previously occupied by MoududThe senior BNP leader said: “I do not understand why Rajuk is demolishing the house when the court is still hearing two cases filed over the property.” “Rajuk has disrespected the court by demolishing the house,” Moudud added. When contacted, Barrister Moudud told Dhaka Tribune: “My client Lebanese billionaire Hany M Salaam gifted me the 1000-year old Lebanese bowl few years back. I liked the bowl much as it carries a symbol of history.”“Not only the bowl, I have also lost several other gifts, which were given by foreigners, diplomats, princes and clients.
