Jordan Banks, 9, was having a private training session with a coach and a few friends when a thunderstorm hit in the Lancashire town on Tuesday. In a tribute on Wednesday, his heartbroken family described him as "the brightest star" and a "beautiful boy". Another said "JORDAN BANKS #7", a reference to his number at Clifton Rangers' Junior FC under nines team, where he used to play. We lost the brightest star, our beautiful boy Jordan.
