Lukaku signed for the Blues for the second time in his career in 2021, returning to Stamford Bridge from Inter Milan for a whopping £97.5m. Despite the enormous fee they paid for his services, Lukaku was sent back to Inter on loan for the 2022/23 campaign and spent last season on loan at Roma. Sky Sport Italia report that AC Milan want to get in on that action and bring Lukaku on loan to Serie A for another season, contacting Chelsea about a possible short-term deal. Napoli still have Victor Osimhen at their disposal, but he is expected to leave this summer and Lukaku could be his replacement.
