WASHINGTON—A federal judge ordered special counsel Robert Mueller’s team to explain next week what it believes Paul Manafort lied to investigators about, after Mr. Mueller threw Mr. Manafort’s future into doubt by saying he breached a plea agreement within three months of reaching it. U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson also set a March date for the former Trump campaign chairman’s sentencing for multiple crimes.
