Photo : BSSSYLHET, March 6, 2026 (BSS) - Commerce, Industries and Textiles and Jute Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir today directed law enforcement agencies to take immediate and effective action to stop criminal activities following deep concern over two specific snatching incidents in Sylhet. Muktadir joined the programme via video conference to inaugurate the construction of a new ablution centre and toilet facilities at the mosque. Muktadir also made a direct appeal to the citizens of Sylhet to assist in maintaining public safety by remaining vigilant within their respective neighbourhoods. The Minister stated that such cooperation from the public would serve as the primary tool for law enforcement agencies to take swift and decisive action against criminals.
