The pair, who are both 15-years-old , were also advised to cover up in shin-length skirts by Hounsdown School’s headteacher Julie Turvey and deputy David Veal. Ellie's outraged mum Gemma Porter, 35, believes that the girls were being 'punished for having curves' and claims that Mr Veal said the skirts would be better suited for 'more slender figures'. Ellie's aunt Carly Hughes, from Gosport, Hampshire, posted pictures of the two girls wearing their skirts on Facebook , which has sparked anger from other parents. However after an unsuccessful and "embarrassing" experience both Ellie and Jasmin’s mums bought ‘plain’ skirts from a clothes website for curvy girls. But when the girls came to school wearing the skirts they were told the small slit at the back was against the rules.
