Sammie-Jo Edwards, 41, had been relaxing beside the tracks near her home when tragedy struck last month on June 28. Other half Jamie Cullingham said she had been lying down on a bank but stood up as a train approached. An inquest into the incident, which has been opened and adjourned, gave Sammie-Jo's cause of death as multiple traumatic injuries. Jamie said: "It was two days after our youngest's fifth birthday. "It seems the train came along, she stood up, stumbled and put her arms out, hitting the side of the train.
