Munich Re AG has announced the appointment of a CEO for its operations in the MENA region. Owais Ansari has been appointed by the insurer as CEO, Life Health, Middle East and North Africa (MENA). He is to attend to his duties from September 1, 2023. Ansari is to be based in Dubai in the role. He is to take over from Frank Mayer who is retiring from his current role.
