Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Detective Branch (DB) has arrested another shooter, Rahim, from Narsingdi in connection with the murder of former Swechhasebak Dal leader Azizur Rahman Musabbir, and recovered the weapon used in the killing. He said Rahim was arrested in an operation in Narsingdi and the firearm used in the murder was recovered. The operation is still ongoing, and detailed information will be provided at a press conference on Saturday. Musabbir was shot dead at around on January 7 behind Bashundhara City in the capital. Musabbir’s wife, Suraiya Akhter, filed the case as the complainant, naming four to five unidentified individuals as accused.
