Othaya, Kenya: Former President Mwai Kibaki was among the last people to vote as polling came to a close at 5pm. Mr Kibaki cast his vote at Munaini Primary School in Othaya, Nyeri County, at 5.45pm. Some of Kibaki's personnel arrived at the polling station at 7am only to find his name missing from the list. His daughter Judy, who voted in the same station at midday, had assured journalists that her father would cast his vote.
