Before now, we have been operating a revenue formula that is as old as this present democracy. This same Federal Government already controls the lion’s share of revenue from the Federation AccountWhen you talk about changing the revenue formula, people will always read politics into it. I pray Nigeria does not face external aggression; will we still rely on this same revenue formula? So, what adjustments are you recommending in the bill in terms of increasing the Federal Government’s share? In the bill, I am recommending an upward review of the federal government’s share of revenue to 60 per cent from the current 52 per cent.
