Dozens of Whitehorse residents took to social media on Saturday to express their shock and disbelief at the Friday night shooting in the city's Porter Creek area. The incident left one man dead and as of Sunday morning, the RCMP had not reported that a suspect was in custody. wrote one resident of Stan McCowan Place, the street where the shooting took place outside a home at around 10 p.m. Friday night. "My son was at a sleepover two doors away from the house party where the man was shot," posted one woman. The other took place earlier this year in Watson Lake.
