'My world went silent,' says grieving father who lost 5 family members as they flew from Toronto to Nairobi


Paul Njoroge gently tucked five long-stemmed white roses in a mound of flowers near the crash site, one for each of his family lost in the Ethiopian Airlines crash last Sunday. Mother Caroline Karanja, kids Ryan, Kerri and Rubi, and grandmother Ann Karanja flew together to Africa from Toronto last Sunday. "I am a Christian," said Karanja, standing near the edge of the crash site. Scooping up dirt from the crash siteBoth fathers, Paul and John, carried small bags with them into the crash site. All week, villagers near the crash site have come and stood silently watching the investigation.
