As the first Briton known to have caught coronavirus, Connor Reed did much to enlighten us about the then mysterious disease. Though compelled to study online rather than attend lectures, Mr Reed says Connor was in an 'upbeat' frame of mind and enjoying his course, which started in September. Mr Reed asked. 'I don't think it was Covid-related, but you never know,' he says. Whatever the truth, Mr Reed reiterates that his exuberant, much-loved son will be remembered as a 'happy child and a happy adult'.
