Victim Susan Kelly's mum believes he could have be a witness to her daughter's brutal killing 21 years ago. A dog walker found Susan's body on September 2 2000, in an alley off Blessington Road, in Anfield. A man was charged with Susan's murder in 2003, when a court heard that her throat had been cut with a small piece of pottery. However the case was dismissed before the end of a trial by order of the judge, Mr Justice Douglas Brown. Susan's mum said her daughter's mental health began to deteriorate after a group of violent criminals broke into her flat looking for drugs and cash.
