The Detroit Pistons' clash against the Cleveland Cavaliers came to a halt on Saturday night after players had to deal with a very noisy disruption. Most notably, the two teams had to handle a lengthy 18-minute delay of the game after play was interrupted by a blaring horn. During a timeout with the Pistons leading 65-64 in regulation, the horn sounded to signal the teams to return to the floor. After 13 minutes, the arena staff shut down the entire overhead scoreboard and the horn stopped to loud cheers. Due to play being suspended for 18 minutes, the game ended up running for 3 hours and 22 minutes.
