Welcoming Tarique Rahman back to the country, Nahid expressed the hope that his participation would be constructive in shaping Bangladesh's democratic future. Meanwhile, Shafiqur Rahman, the chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, welcomed BNP leader Tarique Rahman and extended his greetings, in a Facebook post, to Tarique and his family, writing: "Welcome to you and your family."
