The National Election Authority conference announces the 2018 presidential election timeline - Egypt Today/ Amr MoustafaCAIRO - 26 January 2018: The National Election Authority (NAE) announced on Friday that public notary offices have so far issued about 1.35 million endorsement forms for citizens to officially support the presidential candidate they favor.The authority's spokesman Mahmoud el Sherif said in a statement that the 390 public notary offices across the nation will continue to receive citizens willing to issue endorsement forms for their preferable presidential candidate till January 29.The authority has received a number of requests from non-governmental organizations to monitor the presidential elections, he revealed.The authority board of directors will convene on Saturday to consider these requests, he said.
