I often advocate betting small road underdogs against the spread for value in the NFL. Betting the NY Jets Sunday +3.5 at the Bills is a great example of this. These are two weak teams and at this point the Bills have little in the way of home field advantage. Furthermore, it is hard enough for a bad team like Buffalo to win, let alone win by four or more in a low over/under (few points should be scored) game. Getting more than three points in a close matchup of bad teams is value – take the Jets.
