Meru: Bishop’s wife on the run after attacking boy, injuring his genitalsThe wife of a Bishop in Kiorimba, Meru County is on the run after allegedly assaulting and injuring the manhood of a 17-year-old boy she suspected of having an illicit relationship with her 15-year-old daughter. On reaching the house, he was attacked by members of the girl’s family. Brian claims he lost consciousness after being severely beaten by the girl’s mother, sister and brother. After being rescued, the boy was reportedly taken to Meru Teaching and Referral Hospital for treatment and discharged. Area Chief Victoria Kimathi confirmed the incident and said they were working with the police to find the suspect.
