Ruto to meet Microsoft, Intel, Google and Apple leaders in USPresident William Ruto is expected to depart the country on Wednesday evening for a visit to the United States, State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohamed has said. Hussein said the President will visit Silicon Valley in San Francisco, where he will meet with tech leaders of Microsoft, Intel, Google and Apple, among others as he seeks to expand Kenya’s development in tech innovation. Thereafter, President Ruto is also to attend the 78th United Nations General Assembly session in New York. Additionally, the Head of State will participate in the UN Secretary-General’s Climate Ambition Summit, building on the successes of the recently concluded Africa Climate Summit in Nairobi. He will also hold bilateral meetings with world leaders.
