AdvertisementThe New York City Police Department has released the mugshots of five protesters who were among the dozens of people arrested Wednesday night after post-election demonstrations descended into chaos. 'Last night, these individuals were arrested at protests in Manhattan for various crimes, including assaulting police officers & weapons possession. The arrests happened after hundreds of marchers demanding the counting of every presidential election vote converged on Manhattan's Washington Square Park, where a smaller group rallied against police misconduct. 'Our president seems to be making such a big deal about it and we need to clarify what the vote count is for. Authorities did not specify the nature of the demonstration, however photos show protesters had also gathered for a rally in support of a complete vote count.
