Ish Sodhi was the pick of the New Zealand bowlers, taking 5-94 from 22 overs. Opener George Worker scored 33 and 35 at the crease with very few standout performances with the bat for New Zealand. Indian spinners Karn Sharma and Shahbaz Nadeem took 16 of the New Zealand 20 wickets between them.
