BINTULU: Putrajaya needs Sarawak’s cooperation to face global challenges that are adversely affecting Malaysia’s oil revenue, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. Speaking at a gathering with Petronas staff here on Friday, Najib added that the Federal Government views Sarawak as crucial partner in national development. We in the Federal Government want to see this happen but we must move in harmony,” said Najib. He said that Putrajaya would take the interests of Sarawak into account – along with national interests and the interests of Petronas – when it comes to resolving issues affecting the oil and gas sector. “It is especially important that Petronas offices in Sarawak give more chances to Sarawakians to helm key positions,” said Adenan.
