PORT KLANG: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has flagged off the Food Flotilla For Myanmar, which set sail with a cargo of about 2,200 tonnes of food, at the Boustead Cruise Centre here Friday. The food and other items were loaded onto the vessel, Nautical Aliya, and a barge headed to Myanmar. Also at the flag-off were PAS deputy president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man and the party's secretary-general, Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan. Meanwhile, Putera 1Malaysia Club president Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim said the flotilla will is carrying 2,200 tonnes of food. "We will be sailing along Langkawi, Thailand and into the Andaman Sea and head to the Yangoon Port," Abdul Azeez said in his speech.
