The man accused of murdering Christchurch woman Renee Duckmanton can be named. The 22-year-old sex worker was last seen a day earlier near the Peterborough and Manchester streets intersection in Christchurch's red light district. Police have said they believe Miss Duckmanton's death was related to her work in the sex industry in central Christchurch. Name suppression lapsed today for Sainey Marong, a 32-year-old butcher from the Christchurch suburb of Ilam, understood to be originally from Gambia. Marong has been remanded in custody and will appear at the High Court in Christchurch for a case review hearing on August 19.
