Awami League supporters instigated the violence around 6:30pm, injuring 10 activists and vandalizing a microbus, Alamgir claimed. Kashimpur Union BNP General Secretary Manjur Rashid and Guna Union BNP Organizing Secretary Sweet were critically injured in the incident. The injured are currently undergoing treatment at Naogaon Sadar Hospital, Alamgir added. Raninagar Police Station OC SM Siddiqur Rahman confirmed the incident, and said a case is in the process of being filed with the police station.
