The national electricity grid collapsed on Monday after major power plants lost generation, as the Federal Government intensified efforts to restore the system. As of the time of the incident on Monday, all 22 power plants connected to the grid lost generation. “Kindly be informed that there was a system collapse at 14:01 hrs, which has resulted in a loss of power supply across our network.
