The operation will be led by the Regional Security Liaison Officer, Captain (Rtd.) The exercise targets commercial drivers, conductors, and loading boys who unlawfully increase transport fares. “As a transport operator, you have no right to take the law into your own hands by increasing transport fares,” he said. The operation forms part of broader efforts to protect commuters and maintain order within the commercial transport sector in Kumasi.
