HÀ NỘI – Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc has approved the national scheme to restructure the net work of drug rehabilitation centres by 2020. Another 52 mandatory rehab centres will be converted into voluntary ones. At least 30 private detoxification centres will be established, aiming to increase both the number of rehab centres and their capacity to receive and treat patients. Some 140 district-level mandatory rehab centres have so far been converted into community and voluntary rehab centres. As a set target, all State-owned and community or private rehab centres will achieve the national criteria on drug detoxification facilities and qualified medical workers by 2030.
