AT least 36 Navoteño couples tied the knot at a free civil wedding ceremony organized by the city government of Navotas. The Kasalang Bayan (Town Wedding), done regularly on Valentine’s Day and on the cityhood anniversary of Navotas, aims to legalize marriage of couples who have been living together.
