by Staff Report , (Last Updated about 1 hour ago)KARACHI: In continuation of its efforts to provide standard healthcare facilities along with the coastal areas particularly under the Covid-19 pandemic, Pakistan Navy, in collaboration with other welfare organisations, established a free medical and eye examination camp at Keti Bandar port in Thatta district of Sindh. A dedicated team of doctors comprising medical specialists, eye specialists and General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO) examined the patients and extended free consultation, a press statement said. The patients were also provided with free medicine and minor surgical and dental procedural treatments. Additionally, patients were comprehensively briefed and enlightened about various infectious diseases and their preventive measures, particularly against the Covid-19 pandemic. Pakistan Navy, as a manifestation of its commitment, provide continued quality medical treatment along the coastal belt, the statement added.
