We have met most of the biggest Witcher characters already in season 1, Geralt, Yennefer, Triss, Jaskier and Ciri, though one major figure is missing, Vesemir. It stands to reason that Vesemir will be here soon enough, and realizing that, fans have been fantasy casting him as one actor and one actor only, Mark Hamill. Eventually, his latest declaration got Witcher showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich to respond with the eyes emoji, which set fans ablaze with hype. Still, I think there are a good amount of actors who could fill the Vesemir role well if Hamill doesn’t get cast (my personal pick is still Peter Stromare). But I would be amazed if they don’t bring Hamill in for it, at the very least, after all this fuss.
