Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is the latest in a series of television revivals at Netflix that began in February with Fuller House. Netflix has announced its new, four-part series of the popular dramedy will debut globally on November 25. Edward Herrmann, who played Gilmore patriarch Richard, passed away in 2014 but will be honoured within the episodes — Richard's wife Emily (Bishop) will be a widow.
