Netflix has snapped up an 'absorbing' drama hailed with a Wuthering Heights star which has been hailed as 'an utter joy to watch and a conversation-starter'. It stars Alison Oliver, who played Isabella Linton in Emerald Fennell's 2026 film Wuthering Heights, as Frances Flynn. The cast also includes Sasha Lane as Bobbi Connolly, Joe Alwyn as Nick Conway and Jemima Kirke as Melissa Baines. The Telegraph's Marianka Swain added: 'An utter joy to watch, as well as an audacious conversation-starter.' 'I just watched #conversationwithfriends and while I didn't read the book I LOVED the adaptation.
