Netizens find irony in Jun Lozada convictionNetizens are raising their brows at the conviction of NBN-ZTE whistlebower, Rodolfo Noel “Jun” Lozada Jr.. Most people find the situation doubtful, considering the irony that Lozada is convicted, not long after former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo was acquitted. Lozada, with his brother Jose Orlando, was found guilty of graft earlier and both were sentenced to six to ten years and one day imprisonment. The case roots back to when Lozada was still President and Chief Executive Officer of the Philippine Forest Corp. (PFC). He apparently awarded his brother a leasehold right even without the required application process.
