New COVID travel features on Google Search. GoogleGoogle today announced new search engine features designed to make it easier for users to find up-to-date information about travel policies and restrictions during the pandemic. The search giant also had previously added driving alerts with information about possible COVID-19 checkpoints in Google Maps. The search engine will be pulling data from the company’s Google Flights and Hotels services. Users will also be able to filter their travel search results to see only vacation rentals that offer free cancellation.
