New IATF ruling won't affect arriving imports

IMPORTS ARE BACK The import-laden PBA Governors’ Cup is set to open on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City. Save for Justin Brownlee of Barangay Ginebra and Tony Bishop of Meralco, the rest of the PBA reinforcements have already arrived in the country and practiced with their respective teams. FILE PHOTOA new ruling on health protocols by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) will not affect late-coming imports like Justin Brownlee of Barangay Ginebra and Tony Bishop of Meralco. The IATF has imposed a more strict procedure for foreigners coming from green and yellow countries with high Covid-19 cases. Aside from Brownlee and Bishop, other imports seeing action in the tournament are K.J.
