Purple House Cancer Support Centre in Bray Co. Wicklow have opened a new state of the art Cancer Rehabilitation Gym which will serve as a dedicated facility for Cancer patients in their physical recovery from treatment and surgery. Patients will have the opportunity to avail of one to one sessions, as well as group exercise classes at Purple House. The Purple House gym compliments our existing Cancer support facilities and we look forward to continuing our development of Community based Cancer Support Services.’Dr Grainne Sheill, a chartered physiotherapist from St James Hospital and Trinity College Dublin will be working with patients at Purple House says:“There are currently no outpatient exercise oncology services available to patients in any of the eight national cancer centres. The Purple House Rehab Gym addresses this, and will provide exercise rehabilitation programmes to patients receiving cancer treatment. Purple House is located at 2 Duncairn Tce, Quinsborough Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow.
