A Forbes.com story points out that Orlando lowers an orange, while Raleigh, North Carolina, drops an acorn. Lebanon City has a bologna drop, while Dillsburg drops a pickle, York lowers a white rose, a strawberry descends in Harrisburg and a wrench drops in Mechanicsburg, to name a few. No such ball drop exists here on New Year's Eve. The Times-News would like to know what you think Erie should drop if the city ever created its own interpretation of the event.
