Chaiwen Chou used to carefully map out her running routes around New York City to avoid particularly crowded neighborhoods like Times Square and Koreatown, but that was before the new coronavirus pandemic. Now Manhattan has far fewer tourists and commuters. And some residents have left the city looking for more space and cheaper living elsewhere.
