more-inDistrict Collector U.V. Jose has called for better cooperation from local landholders for the speedy construction of a new bridge across the Moorad river. He said the project would be discussed further with the PWD Secretary on August 8. Mr. Jose exuded confidence in starting construction work by February next if land acquisition for approach roads was completed on time. He said the proposal for constructing the new bridge would be discussed at the district-level Road Safety Authority meeting on August 10.
