A new collector's coin is out and the Inuk artist behind the design says it’s all about capturing the vastness of Labrador. The Royal Canadian Mint recently released its 2026 Canada's National Park series, which includes a collector's coin depicting Torngat Mountains National Park. While they’ve never been to the Torngat Mountains, Jacque said it still feels like home to them. Like they call Labrador the big land and that's what I wanted to capture in this coin,” they told CBC Radio’s Labrador Morning. So on each of the national park coins, you'll see two chairs.
