In November last year, the DoE formally launched the Philippine Conventional Energy Contracting Program (PCECP) which would allow the government to facilitate applications and the awarding of service contracts. The DoE has set a May 21 deadline for the submission of applications, but in a website post on Thursday, it said the deadline has been moved to August 19. “The DOE decided to extend the application deadline to allow us to accommodate more applications from potential investors. Under the first mode, those interested have up to 180 days to file their applications.
