A new flexible workspace providing an environment for remote workers and freelancers has opened in Woodcote. The Woodcote Work Hub offers a space for workers seeking a professional place to work and hold business meetings close to home. The project builds upon efforts to modernise the community centre, which has served residents since the Old Schoolhouse was restored as a community facility in 1993. The hub looks to provide an alternative workspace which encourages collaboration, community connection and productivity. Karen Woolley, who chairs the community centre, said: “The new hub reflects the evolving needs of the village: As more people adopt flexible and remote working, having access to a professional workspace within the community is increasingly important.
